BIO
I shoot people and things for a living, and I love it. Yes, with a camera. I don’t even need a camera, really—I can’t go anywhere or do anything without mentally framing a shot, analyzing the light, memorizing the colors. The camera helps, though. It’s my typewriter, my paintbrush, my microphone and amplifier. It’s how I take what I see—what you see—and create an image that encapsulates a story, a feeling, a message. This process is basically my life. My studio, Commonwealth Studios, is in Salt Lake City, Utah, but I’ll travel anywhere to make that one perfect image, and I often do. In between it all, I’m probably drinking damn good coffee or an IPA, hiking up/sliding down/sleeping in the mountains, or wandering around some city with my wife.
